I hope AlphaFold is a contender for the physiology prize. It converted a formerly slow tedious process of determining protein shape into something fast and routine. The millions of results should revolutionize biology and medicine.
- arcanus 4y agoIt's far too early to appraise the long term impact of alphafold. The Nobel committee is conservative and waits for years to view the impact.
