I am generalising but if you have 4 models currently and stop making 3 of them (75%) you run the risk of alienating 75% of prospective customers surely?

- inawarminister 4y agoNot if each models' consumer preferences size vastly differ. For example, I am sure that Model 3 has much more of a mass market attractiveness than Model S, if only due to being half the price (and smaller).
- simonswords82 4y agoI agree, which is why I said in my post that I am generalising. I am sure that the market size for each model is not exactly 25% but nonetheless, if you ditch models you ditch access to specific markets. Shame we don't have the model sales numbers from Tesla to be more specific here.
