Ask HN: Would you work full-time on your OSS project if you had the money?
Would you work full-time on your project if you could pay your bills with it? Would you go part-time?
- michaelcao 4y agoI personally think that I could choose to go part-time because it could take very long time to gain traction for OSS project.

- paydevs 4y agoAn did you try to monetize your project? And if so using which approaches? Donations, dual-licenses, paid support, etc.?
- rurban 4y agoDonations (I was even chosen as beta tester for GitHub sponsors, and flown in), and paid support. But I had the wrong projects. Andrew Kelley's zig went off, mine not.
