You see my thought is that a lot of proprietary drivers end up being half assed, and kernal code tends to be pretty good. Your mileage may vary though.

- TheLoafOfBread 4y agoMaking any changes in a code of a driver without driven device is a recipe for a disaster. You have no way how to verify that change you made did not affected functionality of the device.
