Remote work could be the reason you don’t have a job in 10 years
- jleyank 4y agoThe story is missing. If they're going to bring up outsourcing/offshoring, that boat sailed 10+ years ago. If it could have been sent far away to save money, it would have been and you'd never have been hired or considered for it. If companies are looking for Talent, it's in limited supply so concessions must be made to get it. If companies are looking for bodies, well, that's a solved problem. Talent in the office isn't any better than Talent elsewhere unless, for some reason, it likes offices.

- tuatoru 4y agoKeen to see meat trimming and packing jobs done remotely. Also construction labor; child care; hair dressing; chiropractic; nursing; meeting facilitation. Will be impressed.
