Needs more than just infrastructure to be safe for cycling. E.g. preventing harassment and theft of bicycles, or low crime rates.
- noelwelsh 4y agoIf you read the article you would see it claims there are almost 1 million bike journeys per day in Paris. Paris only has a population of about 2 million. Counting the surrounding area brings that up 12 million, but however you cut it that statistic means a significant portion of Parisians are cycling and clearly they feel safe enough to do so.
