- Rebelgecko 4y agoI've at least tried out all of the main game streaming options (GeForce Now, XCloud, Stadia, Steam Link, Parsec, etc). Maybe it depends on what games you play or your skill level, but latency/jitter has really only been an issue with using self-hosted options like Steam Link/Moonlight from a network with low upload bandwidth. And to some extent with OnLive, which doesn't exist any more.
- cdumler 4y agoLatency is always a problem for multiplayer, whether on local LAN or not. A lot of it comes down to how well the game engine deals with latency. I play Guild Wars 2 on GeForce now given that I have a Mac. Works just fine on normal days.
- spicybright 4y agoIsn't this something different though? You're downloading video and uploading game inputs, not passing game data around.
- fragmede 4y agogeforece now is a cloud gaming service like Stadia
- bno1 4y agoTheir "negative latency" thing really didn't sound practical at all for games where latency matters.
