True, if it is too general/flexible for future extension, devices might start only implementing part of it and we are getting limited by this blurry line of which device supports what
- xani_ 4y agoWe're already at that point, altho mostly because standard is so complex so many companies got it wrong. There is also a ton of optional stuff, which pretty much means every device needing above 5V needs to have buck/boost converter
