Honest question, but what is the advantage of having your website as an app? Isn't it easier for people to just go to the mobile site if it's exactly the same?
- bilalq 4y agoDistribution and discoverability are big factors. You may have built a great webapp for managing a todo list, but you'll never be found by the people who just open the app store on their phone and search for "Todo list" there.
- turnsout 4y agoAnother honest question: is App Store SEO easier than Google SEO?
- memorable 4y agoYes, but some people prefer to have a website as a mobile app, because it's then more convinient to access and to use. Mobile apps of a website can also be easily optimized to suit for using on a phone, compared to using the mobile version of a website (take Gmail for example).
