I've also had the idea to add QR codes to Instagram pictures and when talking to potential customers, it fit none of their preferred flows. I've often heard what you say, "it's just a matter of educating people", especially from marketing folks, but where is the humbleness of being educated by potential customers into their current workflows and inserting a product into that, instead of trying to change their flows - which most often doesn't translate all that well into real life - enhances them? I also find the direct link to your product, without a direct relationship to the title to be a bit disingenious.
