As long as it is not coupled with toddler tantrums. We all know adults who have the emotional maturity of a 5 year old. I’m more concerned about America’s growing body of narcissism.
- TheOtherHobbes 4y agoNarcissism has always been the unstated official state religion of the US. Which is true of all empires. You don't get to run the world - at least the parts you can access - by having empathy for the people you're exploiting and abusing. One of the popular forms of gaslighting is labelling empathy and concern "childish", "unrealistic", and "unserious."
