If Mexico held a referendum to annex Texas, and 99% of Texans voted to join Mexico—some willingly, some because a guy with an AR-15 was holding the ballot box—I doubt the US government would shrug and say "oh well, it's the will of the people..."

- macintux 4y agoI’ve wondered how many of those Americans who think we should just concede half of Ukraine to Russia would feel the same if Mexico invaded to reclaim the western half of the U.S., raping and murdering their way across the countryside.
- michaelmrose 4y agoI do not support pointing a gun at anyone who is voting but can we please actually have a vote about ejecting texas and then building that wall they want just on you know our side of that border.
