As a hiring manager myself I do think that the market has become more difficult for new grads. I'm sorry to tell you that, but you're a dime a dozen. Yeah you come from a good school, but honestly, I'll just give you the same coding exercise I give to the guy who just came out of a bootcamp and pick whoever does best. I don't think you should be panicking though, just learn to deal with this market. Build a network, favor direct reach outs over just applying to a job on indeed.
