Banning Coding Books Will Only Make Parents Fight Harder for Them
- sn0w_crash 4y agoAccording to the school board, the books were never banned. What is causing this outrage? I am confused. Is there even a real story here?
- mindcrime 4y agoReading this[1], it seems like a big nothing-burger to me. What really rubs me the wrong way here though, is how the author of this piece goes off on tangents about stuff like gun control, instead of just making their point about the "book ban." As somebody who is both very "pro book" and very "pro gun" and who identifies with neither "the left" nor "the right", I found that whole thing a distraction and annoyance that took away from the overall value of the article.
