Microsoft executives say it's 'wrong' for managers to spy on remote employees'
- rany_ 4y agoSpying on remote employees is the result of managers not being able to draw conclusions about worker's productivity from their output. This obviously points to more serious internal problems.
- coldacid 4y agoSpying on remote employees is the result of managers not even knowing what metrics to use for measuring productivity in the first place, and going for the biggest most intrusive "solution" first.
- tinus_hn 4y agoFirstly, spying on remote employees is the result of being able to spy on remote employees. If it were impossible or illegal it wouldn’t be so necessary.
- mrguyorama 4y agoOkay, then stop enabling it within Teams and other office products.

- hulitu 4y agoOf course they do, but they want to look clean. Like saying: we sell guns for self defence, not for killing people.
