Anyone know of a similar tool for Roku TVs? I have the same complaints as everyone else. A PiHole used to be an effective way to keep the ads down but they've found a way to get around it.
- sphars 4y agoI don't know if it'll help, but I've been using NextDNS [0] to block ads on my Roku TV (and general network-wide adblocking). In the NextDNS dashboard, there is a setting under Privacy > Native Tracking Protection that has an option to block Roku trackers. According to their source code [1], I think it just blocks logs.roku.com, but works for me. Additionally, there was another Roku domain that I blocked at the router level that also helped (I think it was something like scribe.roku.com, but can't confirm until later today).
