I use a baby sleep sounds app to help my kid sleep (and soothe myself in the long process). It has many options, most of them worse than nothing. The only good one is airplane, which sounds exactly like brown noise.

best "baby sleep sounds" is when their head is curled up against your chest. And you both drift off. Bliss.

  I am too heavy a sleeper to co-sleep with an infant. I will not wake-up if I roll on top of one.
