It’s not the low paid manually intensive jobs that will be automated by “AI”
- raxxorraxor 4y agoAI could also easily replace edgy comments on Twitter. What will people do then? The first jobs to be automated are probably clerks in public and private positions. But I doubt this will realize itself to soon when I look at automation in production today. We have a high tech machine for soldering and checking. It is actually slower than those doing it by hand aside from the most simple tasks. It is our 0.5 employee and while I don't know its exact budget, I think it is economically not competitive. It can help, but I doubt it will replace many people. Yes, there is tech that could make it better and faster, but... AI still fails hard if people try to burn down the building because the AI was incapable to serve their query that only slightly deviated from standard procedure.
