Amazon rolls out pay raises for warehouse workers
- daenney 4y ago> Wages will increase by roughly $0.50 to $1 an hour Wowsers. Maybe up to one whole dollar? Praise Prime. You can also read that as they were making $0.50 and now will be making a whole dollar. I’m not sure which is more sad.
- antonymy 4y agoA $1 raise ain't nothing but it's a very short step up from nothing that hardly solves the underlying problem warehouse workers face.
- krapp 4y agolol. Most aren't even getting a whole dollar. At the warehouse where I work, long-term (3 years+) L1s get a whopping 65 cents. I think literal slaps to the face would be less degrading.
