The main thing I would say is more and especially legacy companies should have clear open source policies & IP strategy to enable employees to quickly assess if they can build their work openly.
- asim 4y agoEven if they did we have no standardisation. I truly wish we had Android for Cloud. An open source operating system and framework that then let people publish software that worked seamlessly on it. I don't think docker and kubernetes went far enough.
- robertlagrant 4y agoWe do have Android for Cloud. It's called any cloud provider. You can build for that provider and it will work.
- asim 4y agoCloud providers right now look more like the PalmPilot's and Blackberry's of the world did.
