fwiw I've noticed that my 2016 vehicle is surprisingly low maintenance compared to previous generations of vehicles. From longer cycles for basic maintenance[2] to parts just not failing as soon as I was used to (eg, check out this article[1] about cv joints lasting 2-3x as long). I wish i could say the same about home appliances.
