Actually, I realized that much of my _music_ equipment falls into this category as well. My mixer is an early example of a MIDI-controllable analog mixer but since the MIDI protocol is still ubiquitous, it still fits right into my modern workflow. New mixers don't really bring much to the table that am average person would need.
