Now realistically how much time would it take to fix something like this?
- pantalaimon 4y agoThere is nobody to fix it, Nord Stream is bankrupt and there is no political incentive to fix it on either side.
- seren 4y agoIf it is fixable, I am not sure how you can make sure it does not happen again. I am not sure how you are supposed to survey hundreds of kilometers of underwater pipeline.
- 3guk 4y agoI mean it’s probably quite tricky to keep a constant eye on every KM of both pipelines - but given the number of surveys involved just to get NS2 to a state where it could originally be pressurised - before they went bankrupt. I would say you could at least do semi regular inspections using ROVs.
