I don't know what more evidence we need that iOS and Apple are rotten and regulation is necessary. Too bad legislators are walking at a turtle's pace. Were the platform open to competition, we could have multiple stores that would have better policies. It would still elude the common user, unfortunately, but it would be a solution.
