- aczerepinski 4y agoIn my last house I couldn't fit even a baby grand piano and got a quote to add a modest addition to the house just for that. The cost was so high (this was Boston area) that it prompted us to immediately put our house on the market and move back home to the Midwest. It's fair to say that buying a Steinway concert grand in the midwest would be cheaper than the world's cheapest piano plus a room to house it in tough housing markets :)
