You're right, it carries a more negative point of view. But for me that´s what really gets me going: remembering that I´ll be dead in the future prompts me to enjoy this day to its fullest. Also, it helps not to stress so much over anything.. it´s of course a slippery slope towards cynicism, but I can handle that.
