Nikola recalls all the electric trucks it has built so far
- puffoflogic 4y agoHow could any of their trucks crash? Don't they make sure the downhill testing tracks are clear before sending their trucks down? O.o
- a1371 4y agoHave they actually built only 93 trucks? Or are these 93 models?
- tadfisher 4y ago93. They started production in late March.

- orangepanda 4y agoOverall, this is positive news for Nikola. As it signals that they have actually built a truck.
- lm28469 4y agoMove fast and break people
- vinay427 4y agoThis doesn't seem to be the fault of Nikola's manufacturing process: > Nikola told Iveco, which said the final torque on the passenger seat belt shoulder anchorage was not installed to specification. Iveco is an established commercial vehicle manufacturer, for context.
- tromp 4y agoFancy having two electric car companies named after you! (before today I wasn't even aware of this one)
- pedalpete 4y agoI'm not a an of Nikola for all the obvious reasons, but I find it surprising that the first flaw with their trucks is from a supplier with a history of creating trucks, and not from a fault of their own development.
- didgeoridoo 4y agoAt least that HTML5 supercomputer in there is still solid.
- somewhat_drunk 4y agoPeople are still shitting on Nikola for Trevor Milton's fraud, but he has been gone for two years, and the people who took over have turned Nikola into a legitimate business. They created a reasonable plan, executed as planned, and are now selling trucks as quickly as they can manufacture them. Their partner - IVECO - is a multinational, well respected truck manufacturer based in Italy with sales throughout Europe, which is exactly the kind of partnership they need at this point in their growth curve.
- panick21_ 4y agoThey have large amounts of money they got from fraud and that allowed them to survive for long enough. But they have no competitive advantage they just have a contract manufacture who set up a low volume production line for them.
