- chrisshroba 4y agoIt wouldn't do much good since Stockfish could easily run on a raspberry pi or similar inside of that, say, in a player's shoe
- a-dub 4y agoyes but your ability to detect rf noise from electronics, even well shielded electronics, is greatly enhanced in that environment.
- a-dub 4y agoor better yet... follow the wikipedia model and have a parallel cheater chess league where there are cash prizes for proving after the fact that wins were the most sophisticated and undetectable cheats.
- traes 4y agothat would make the games themselves extremely boring, which makes it no longer really a game of chess and more like the Penn & Teller Fool Us show but more specific.
- yardstick 4y agoWouldn’t the raspberry pi have detectable EM radiation? Not from comms but from the normal operation of the board?

- _ph_ 4y agoSome comfortable clothing could be provided by the tournament organizers, making a lot of cheating strategies impossible.
