We can't know this for sure. We have no idea what the behind-the-scenes factors were that led to Obama granting clemency to Chelsea Manning.
- jonnybgood 4y agoI think it’s very likely. If he’s a hero as some claim, it would be in the court record and there would be public pressure for clemency. He would have received media attention for his trial like Chelsea Manning, perhaps even more since he’s so outspoken.
