Cloudflare launches eSIM to secure mobile devices
- mikece 4y agoSounds like a great implementation of the wrong solution. Rather than locking down SIMs and phones it would be better if we stopped using phones and/or SMS as a means of identification/authentication. When SIM/eSIM is no longer used for authentication then the threats posed by SIM Swap attacks go away as well -- without the need for gold-plated SIM security solutions.

Everytime i go there i get blocked by signup page asking me for a phone number and i promptly close the tab. Its great!
