I just started working remotely in a semi-technical role. Caveats being that I can only login from my own home unless I gain prior approval. It works so well for my young family that my forward momentum has slowed to a crawl, as I don't want to take a role with the potential to re-introduce multiple office visits and travel for at least the next few years. I am living somewhere I am not from and it is hard to meet new people at this age. For that I will eventually welcome a couple of days a week in office. For now, not a chance.
