All things been equal (which they never are) then physical attractiveness is probably a slight benefit to the attractive person. Similar to the statistical correlation with tallness (though again whether that's a matter of taller than average people doing well because they are taller or because physical height is correlated with better diet/socio-economic group as a child etc). This stuff is always so blurry because of confounding factors and inability to control for other factors.
