At least New Year’s Day no longer falls on 25th March.
- hutzlibu 4y agoDepends, in the northern hemisphere this would be when spring is starting, so when the whole nature comes to life full power. Might be more appropriate, as a start of a new year, instead of choosing the time when the cold starts..
- dave4420 4y agoIf New Year’s Day was still 25th March, that Twitter thread would have complained about the year starting partway through a month. March 1st would make sense in terms of Sep/Oct/Nov/Dec having the right names for their place in the year.
