- rdtwo 4y agoThe good ones got looted and sold to the USA decades ago. The shit ones probably got officially destroyed but instead got substituted for the ones sold off.

- retrocryptid 4y agoKalishnikovs have a reputation for "robustness." It's common to hear people talk about how you could drop them in mud and they'll still fire. I've always thought it better to not drop your AK in mud and not be the one who finds out this isn't true. It's possible this firearm is still functional, and for all we know it was issued to a clerk/typist so the infantry dude could get one of the decent ones. Still... yikes.
