  Microsoft does enough global hiring that they aren't really strictly considered an American company by European tech companies. Amazon is considered both hostile to their local economies but also wholly American. Google is also considered like this, except G Suite is a powerful gateway drug that gives them strong selling leverage in those markets. Microsoft has the same with Windows & Office.
