Ask HN: Which is the most useful job board?
Are you looking for a job, which is the most useful job board and why? Which is the most valuable feature as a job seeker?
I asked on Twitter and Reddit and folks complains about fake remote or remote "but you need to live close to the office".
I am building a board of job boards, or a job boards agreaggator, there are 335 in the list so far, curated by hand and would be really helpful oppinnions nor advice from people looking for a job.
If interested the URL is https://jobboardsearch.com I named it Job Board Search.
Recently I've added a job offers listing feature that I pull from 25 different job boards, listing 600+ jobs, in order to view only the 25 mentioned board you need to select the filter [With job offers]
I am trying to make a ranking based on job seekers oppinions so, in your oppinion, which is the most useful job board?
- andrewmcwatters 4y agoIndeed by far. Everyone else seems to be total junk. I think LinkedIn appears to be fine, too, actually. I’ve just not used it.
- rrmdp 4y agoDo you only use Indeed? Why by far, what is so good about it? Thanks :)

- rrmdp 4y agoI can't find the jobs listing, is it actually a job board? Thanks :)
- cercatrova 4y agoLinkedIn consistently got me jobs that no other job platform has.
- NatTheBat 4y agoI second linkedin, in my experience it's been less cluttered with spam jobs and has the most relevant suggestions.
- rrmdp 4y agoDid you try any other one, or you don't even bother as LinkedIn offers all what you need? What do you like the most? Thanks a lot :)
- cercatrova 4y agoWith LI, I haven't applied to jobs in years as recruiters come to me; I simply don't have to do any extra work. With others, I have to actively apply for jobs.
- rrmdp 4y agoSo the offers you received from recruiters via DMs on LI got you the jobs?
- DMell 4y agoThis year, I got my first job out of college through the HN job postings.
