- ecpottinger 4y agoThe difference, an engineer is told what to build and tries to do that. A programmer is told what to do, and half way thru development they have the boss show up and say 'I just read of this brilliant idea in BusinessWeek, lets add/change the code to do .....".
- collyw 4y agoExcept it's usually more "I just read about fantastic technology X, we need to use that". Ignoring the actually problems we have and whether technology X will solve them in any way at all.
- twblalock 4y agoI would probably try to do that too, but one bad week or month, and I'd be done.
- chucksmash 4y agoFunemployment is when you are not working though
- ambrose2 4y agoI guess there’s both fUnemployment and Fun-employment
- hmlongco 4y agoI've been playing... (I mean, I've been) working with computers for decades. My basic philosophy is that I'd probably be sitting in front of the silly thing anyway. Might as well be paid for it.
