If you wish to be a flâneur, Mr. Greenberg, nobody is stopping you. Leave the iPhone at home and go wandering as your heart wills.
That the iPhone and ilk have demonstrated how few people wish to join you when not forced to do so sounds like a personal issue.
- joemazerino 4y agoAgreed, as it seems he's complaining that other wanderer's don't exist to entertain him. I enjoyed the article however. Random encounters end up with random connections, experiences, joys. It is one of the great parts of life.
