BBC says that only about 10% of people brush their teeth with the proper technique [1]. I've tried it and my hygienist confirms it helps a lot. I'm using the Braun Oral B 4000 with round brushes. I tried water jets but with poor results probably because of almost no abrasion from the toothpaste. Your mileage may vary.
