- frumper 4y agoI live in California and have never had TOU at my residence. I do have TOU options that just haven't been very good choices for my family.
- parkingrift 4y agoI couldn't find data more recent than 2017, but as of 2017 fewer than 4% of utility customers were using time of use billing.
- ThatPlayer 4y agoActual migration is more recent than that in California. Looks like PG&E started migrating customers to TOU (unless they chose to stay on the old plan) this year: https://www.yahoo.com/now/eligible-pg-e-customers-moving-061300798.html https://www.yahoo.com/now/eligible-pg-e-customers-moving-061... Similarly for SoCal Edison, last year: https://ktla.com/news/local-news/socal-edison-moving-customers-to-new-time-of-use-rate-plans-that-will-charge-more-between-4-9-p-m/ https://ktla.com/news/local-news/socal-edison-moving-custome...
