Yeah, leads will have meetings about "getting to the next level" and offer vague advice like, "I need to see more" which is just gut feeling garbage. I work, I collect pay, I leave. If I want a promo, I would just leave and get +20% and a new title and get to be useless for 6 months at a new job. Why would I do more for nothing now and maybe something vague in the future?

> Why would I do more for nothing now and maybe something vague in the future? Its funny how stockbrokers and sales people can have very clear upfront compensation structures - yet other business areas are supposed to go above and beyond and gamble they might get a promotion or bonus at year end.
