Okay I concede that Visual Studio is also good. VS code is another crappy electron app. Why anyone would want to use electron for a text editor is beyond me.

Okay I concede that Visual Studio is also good. VS code is another crappy electron app. Why anyone would want to use electron for a text editor is beyond me. C#/.NET are crap. Especially .NET. And a programming language that is not cross-platfrom is a joke. I know they have made some efforts to get it to work on other OS's but those are just as crappy as all their other stuff. Nothing wrong with typescript, but I don't really see it as any kind of innovation. It's just JS with some guardrails.
