- andybak 4y agoExcept chubby vs fit is the result of many factors only one of which is "has a set of beliefs about nutrition that are consistent with reality".
- hericium 4y agoLooking healthy over looking unhealthy then.
- brippalcharrid 4y agoNonetheless, having a set of reality-according convictions that can be (and which are) practically applied appears by far to be a dominant factor, especially when you consider how many of the alternative explanations (eg. endocrine disorders) are heavily influenced by lifestyle choices (which in turn are caused by views about nutrition or exercise that either don't accord with reality or are being incorrectly applied).
- Gordonjcp 4y agoA "fit youtuber" probably isn't fit.
- tpush 4y ago> No reason to listen to a chubby doctor over a fit youtuber. This is the reason discourse on this site is going down the toilet.
- Bancakes 4y agoIf the ideas doctors recommend worked, they would be employing them. And I don't want to hear about "busy family man" excuses. Would you ever go to a dentist with crooked teeth or a physio with scoliosis?
- moistly 4y agoAs we all know, congenital birth defects are proof that one cannot choose a profession that involves anything even remotely with that defect. For instance, a person with scoliosis simply can not be a physiotherapist. That’s just natural laws, natural consequences at play! It’s a shame you don’t play by your own rules, because then we wouldn’t have to read your idiotic spew.
- Bancakes 4y agoIf you're a physio and you promise to mend people's scoliosis but cannot mend your own, you are a fraud. By all means, go get scammed. Go buy books and fall for the mythos and appeal to authority.
- moistly 4y agoI’m convinced that you don’t know what scoliosis is, nor what a physiotherapist does.
