Hey HN! It’s Yonatan, Port’s CTO, sharing our product launch with the community! We’re a team of passionate platform engineers and DevOps people, and we built an internal developer portal platform. It’s actually the second one we’ve built - the first one was an in-house platform for thousands of developers, which let us take what we learned and build a product. One of our key learnings was that in terms of software, resources, environments, everyone’s a snowflake. So the core of Port is a builder-based software catalog. We also believe that developer self-service actions need to be way more than scaffolding services, so we enable many actions, so you can let your developers provision, terminate and perform day 2 operations, like provision a dev env, request permission for an S3 bucket or add a secret to a microservice.
