Amazon Keeps Prices ‘Artificially High,’ California Alleges
- jfengel 4y agoI don't doubt that Amazon fixes prices higher than they would otherwise be, but I still find that Amazon is frequently absurdly inexpensive. I avoid Amazon when I can, because I do not like the way they treat their employees and I wouldn't trust anything electronic or edible from them, but any other option is likely to take longer and cost more. I'd love to see Amazon face serious scrutiny, but I suspect it would make prices go up, not down.
- metadat 4y agoAmazon doing the price fixing again, what are we going to do about it? Give them a fine? Lol. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32920356 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32920356
