I don't disagree, but the positive thing about this is it's opt-in for extensions. If extensions don't support it it means you just can't use that extension when trying to run multiple interpreters in the same process. Let's see if there's even a good use case for running multiple interpreters in the same process outside of embedded programming, it's not 100% clear yet.
