It feels like atleast some of them use the same company or UI framework to build the app. So bloated for one company means bloated for others. Also from what I can see they have lot of third party libraries included for security purposes like detecting jailbroken phones and gathering location based intelligence etc
- fy20 4y agoThe client should be considered insecure as it runs on a device the bank does not control, and their backend should be built with that in mind. So why does it matter if the device is jail broken or not?
- yalogin 4y agoYep i agree with you and I don’t know why they do it, but I have run into one bank app that doesn’t let check deposits on a jailbroken phone
