Was seriously considering buying a used A100, just because it had >16GB RAM and was built for model training. Considering this new 4090 has 24GB RAM and is probably faster and cheaper than a used V100, I'll be picking one up for sure.

Is there any way to link the 4090s though? Even if there was a way to do it in software with a big performance hit I’d be open to it. Need the equivalent of multiple linked A40s.

  Just looked at the specs, and unfortunately NVLink is not supported on these cards.
