If this works, is there any reason this won’t work as a content blocker for safari?
- viktorcode 4y agoI believe there's none.
- novok 4y agoIt just won't work that well. Recently in the past few months I've been noticing more and more ads with safari style content blockers, while ublock style continue to work fine. I fear this style of 'adblock' will have similar issues.
- webmobdev 4y agoSwitch to Orion browser - https://browser.kagi.com/ https://browser.kagi.com/ - it's a Safari / webkit clone with built-in uBlock Origin.
- FabHK 4y agoThanks for the suggestion, I've been looking for something like that. Will give it a shot. brew install orion
- novok 4y agoYeah i use brave which does something similar.
- webmobdev 4y agoBrave is a Chromium clone with their own built-in adblocker. Orion is a Safari / Webkit clone re-engineered to work with Ublock Origin (which is currently the best ad blocker). So on a mac or ios, Orion will be slightly better.
