Your 15A circuit will support 15A * 125V = 1875W
- rimunroe 4y agoMy understanding is that the maximum should only be used for short periods of time, like for microwaves and hair dryers, rather than for sustained loads like a heater or computer. I think sustained loads are supposed to be 80% of the maximum load the breaker can handle.
